One of the newer Adidas silhouettes has arrived – POD-S3.1. The names of sneakers can sometimes be a mystery and the name of this one may cause a few people to shake their heads. “POD” stands for “Point of Deflection”, which refers to technology that was first seen in the ZX 8000 silhouette in 1989. The number combination indicates that Adidas has used three of its groundbreaking technologies in one shoe.

The upper is made from a classic mesh that provides perfect shape and breathability. The midsole in this POD combines three technologies – EVA technology in the front, well-known Boost technology the heel and a TPU plate between the two, to achieve optimal shock absorption.

This sneaker taps into the current chunky trend and it is a perfect match with jeans or jogger styles. Available in both grey og black.
